Five and a half minutes packed with information: For the second time since 2010, we have shot a visitor’s film for the Airport in Stuttgart. The outcome: A fascinating look behind the scenes that allows visitors a sneak peak into Swabian aviation – from check-in to various security restricted areas such as the baggage center, the airport apron, the airport fire department and the tower. Even the cockpit of cooperation partner TUIfly was filmed.

Since December 2015, the film has been part of the airport tour that has approximately 40,000 participants per year.

80 persons were involved in shooting in front of and behind the camera, during a whole of five days of filming. It was not all easy to meet all the necessary safety requirements: In order to film inside the cockpit, for instance, our cameraman Sebastian had to acquire a license – including a knowledge test and complete background check.
